To create a custom portrait experience, we start by getting to know you and your family. Your first appointment with us, your consultation, is where we sit down over a cup of coffee and you tell us about your family. We want to know why this moment is such an important part of your lives and what your vision is for the story this portrait will tell and and where it will be placed in your home. We’re going to talk about locations that will be perfect for your portrait…whether you’d prefer an outdoor session at one of our exclusive locations, or a timeless session in our beautiful studio.
You’ll be in our expert hands as we assist you with your clothing selection and above all else, learn your family dynamics so that everyone can relax and enjoy the portrait day. Our gift is getting folks to relax and yes, we make portraits enjoyable!
During your initial consultation we will set a time and date for your portrait session. About two weeks after your session we’ll invite you back into the studio to select your images and assist you with putting together your portrait order. When you work with us you get our undivided attention and professional expertise for portrait sizing and framing…we can even show you what your portrait will look on the wall of your home. The finished pieces will arrive in 3-6 weeks after you make your portrait selections.
What is the average session time?
Average session time is 45 minutes to 2 hours. It varies depending on the ages of children, the type of session and also the location. Once we know your vision and have determined some specifics, we can give you complete information.
How does the image review process work?

Do you sell digital files?
Our art always starts with a digital photograph. From that, we create beautifully-crafted pieces of art that will adorn your home. Like craftsmen of old, our focus is on giving our clients quality pieces coupled with outstanding customer service. We do provide low resolution files that include our logo for social media use from pieces that have been purchased. We want you to share with your friends and family!
How much should I plan to invest?
Studio sessions start at $250. Outdoor sessions range between $250 – $350. Wall portraits 20 inches or larger start at $1000 Gift prints start at $99. We allow you to build your own package, so when you purchase three or more items, you enjoy a 20% savings on your portraits.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a deposit or your session fee reserves your time on our calendar. In addition, at your portrait selection appointment we will ask for a deposit on your portrait order. The balance may be paid when your portraits are completed. We also offer no interest payment plans, please feel free to ask us about that!
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, check, Visa, and Mastercard.
Do you frame the portraits?
As part of the full service that we offer, we can complete your portraits with the perfect finishing touch. Our clients highly recommend our framing services and enjoy having our expertise on hand. When you frame with us, your completed portrait is 100% guaranteed. For example: if on the way home with your finished piece you accidentally drop your portrait and the frame is damaged, we will gladly replace it for you at no cost to you.
What options are available to me once I have made my image selection?
Wall portraits (fine art prints, canvases, mixed media on canvas), gift prints, coffee table albums, and elegant boxed collections.
How will I know what size portrait to order?
When you provide us with images of the area(s) you are considering for portraits, at our portrait section appointment, we can superimpose the portrait right on to your home’s walls. That means you will know exactly what size is right for your home!
Do you photograph weddings?
No, but we are very experienced at bridal portraits. If your wedding photographer doesn’t have a studio for your bridal portrait, we often provide that service for brides. We also are available for outdoor bridal portraits sessions. Our experience with professional posing and lighting guarantee that you will have a beautiful treasure to enjoy for many years.
