Sandy and Devon’s Old Salem engagement session took place a couple of months ago…on a gorgeous, but slightly chilly, afternoon. Yeah, ask Sandy how much she wanted to keep her coat on! Chilly though it was, there was a definite warmth when the two of these folks were together…an obvious testament to how much they care for each other. Both natives of Winston-Salem, it was important to them to find somewhere that felt like “home” to do their engagement session. So Old Salem was the natural choice for saying “Winston-Salem.”

Sandy and Devon met while they were in college at NC State, so they have been dating for several years. Now settled back here in their hometown, they are excited to be planning a May wedding, and I couldn’t be more happy to get to share it with them. They are one of those opposites attract pairs…she is the perky voracious one, who never met a stranger…he, quite the opposite…quiet and every bit the southern gentleman.

Their May wedding is one I can hardly wait to be part of. It will be held on his family’s farm (where they are building a custom pavilion for the big day). With Devon’s talent for landscape design, it is sure to be an amazing venue. And Sandy and her mom are deep in the details, I know everything is going to be absolutely gorgeous!Winston-Salem Engagement Photographer_0362Winston-Salem Engagement Photographer_0363Winston-Salem Engagement Photographer_0364Winston-Salem Engagement Photographer_0365Winston-Salem Engagement Photographer_0366Winston-Salem Engagement Photographer_0367Winston-Salem Engagement Photographer_0368Winston-Salem Engagement Photographer_0369Winston-Salem Engagement Photographer_0370Winston-Salem Engagement Photographer_0371Winston-Salem Engagement Photographer_0372Winston-Salem Engagement Photographer_0373Winston-Salem Engagement Photographer_0374
